The Septic Repair Loan Program, offered by MassHousing in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Protection and community lenders across the Commonwealth, is an affordable way to repair or replace your septic system.

Septic Repair Loan Program Features

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Septic Repair Loan, borrowers must

  • Be the owner-occupant of a 1- to 4-family home, including condominiums
  • Meet income eligibility limits

Additional Features

  • Closing costs may be rolled into the loan
  • Project must be completed within six months of closing
